Poor phrasing on my part. Story says pills were found all over the counter and floor, so I assumed the dog came by, ate some of them, and died alongside the woman.

I think a local New Mexico paper broke the story and they didn’t have much info, then it was picked up by other major news outlets but the story was kind of slowing moving at first since essentially nothing was known.

Where I’ve lived a mudroom is usually a side or ancillary entrance, not the front.

In the case of Hackman I'd say it has something more to do with a meat cleaver and poor imported south americans but it must just be my imagination.
