Is it worth starting an Atari Jaguar Collection?

I played Flashback on the Jag quite a bit. Never seemed particularly better than the 16-bit ports though. 3DO was probably my fave port of that.

32x game is only 30fps like the snes game. The genesis and scd were both 60fps. There are some reasons that the scd port was considered the best, maybe an additional stage or something, I don't know the details off hand. I recall a guy named Barone did a massive wall of text comparison breakdown of all the ports on a few of the forums back in the day.
Yeah but none of them are a good game. Not a terrible game, just not a good one.

I see, so that's what the fuss was all about back then.

BC Racers is another game that was better on SCD than 32X, it's still beyond me how they could have fucked it up like that, it's almost like they wanted the 32X to fail.

So I noticed yesterday that we finally got a break from the political arguing only to see this is the thread where everyone was posting Instead...

I honestly think politics might be the better option and I don’t say that lightly.

This is downright shameful.

I too am wondering why the hell this thread is still alive.

It should be dead, like, Konix Multi-System dead.
ironically konix would be way better in hardware than the buggy ass jag stuff and with good games to boot, if it was released

Did you know the 3do is technically similar to an Amiga, with a few of the same developers.

I once had a dream as a kid the lynx had a cd addon
What an idiot. They shouldn't let kids binge drink over there.

jk, actually the Lynx CD sounds pretty sweet. Was it like a drive that connects via a cable that sits next to you? Optical media in a portable wasn't a thing until the PSP. That's why the PSP is fantastic.

Hip clip CD player on one side. Red/blue free-dee goggles, 12 battery reservoir on the other side of your acid washed jordash jeans. No belt to hold them up. Just a gut and a Morrisey T-shirt. “How to code c++” manual in a back pocket and then 20 quid to convince a bucolic female to come eat a cone and maybe come scrunch at mum’s loft

My dreams aren't all Rolexes and transformers toys. As a kid, I actually had random thoughts about things I was interested in pop into my mind. Because I have an active imagination and I'm not brain dead.

Yeah but you still made bad decisions and bought a 32x and sega cd

I was doing BMX tricks and skilfully crafting bows
