Is it worth starting an Atari Jaguar Collection?

I took the weekend to really think about it.

No.

It's still not worth it.

I just don’t get it, lots of people foam at the mouth over Tempest, what’s the matter with the PS1/Saturn or the PS4 versions? I also kept hearing about Atari Karts and I was stoked to play it on Atari 50 but it’s like a meh N64 game to me almost like Disney Racing on the Dreamcast which I think is better even.

Now I Robot on the collection that was great.

I would mind trying Aliens maybe when I get my Superstation in

I swear, if I had stamped "ATARI" on a turd I did 30 years ago, today there would be a bunch of morons out there who would love that turd for all its quirks too.

I's not a 10/10. It's not even that good.

The consensus seems to be that the ports just don't quite feel right. The PS1 version is technically not even the same game.

“love it for all its quirks”

Fucks sake.
Some people just like to dick around with game hardware. I say let people have their harmless hobbies, even if you're personally not interested, and there's probably something more fulfilling out there they could be spending their time on.

Tempest 2000 looked very impressive at the time of its announcement, but was pretty quickly left behind when the PS1 & Saturn started to show what they could do with the shmup genre.

Of course Atari nerds love it because it's by Jeff Minter. He also could release a turd on a stick and Atari fanz would blow their loads.

Poor dude woke up from a nightmare, into a worse nightmare... where he owned a Jaguar. The hottie left him soon after she tried the Jaguar.
