People love to talk shit about Ubisoft. They're honestly just one of the huge publishers like EA. If they happen to release a game I want to play, I'll buy it.

5 is pretty good, best FC game since 2 imo. I'd certainly go back and play through it again.... which is more than I can say for 3 & 4.

I originall;y thought it was tinfoil hat that tencent was pushing woke ideology at western studios, but there was a press release stating this a few years ago. I would love to cite it but search engines are only showing stuff about the speculative buyout.

Ubisoft also admitted they shifted to a brown protagonist specifically because of the media during certain events years ago. They speculated on virtue signaling, but failed to predict the pendulum swinging back.

I'm really hoping M$ wakes up with their new Fable game, but i'm already writing that off. They've been quiet on purpose.

Also, ZombiU was pretty cool on the WiiU. nice call back to their original game Zombi.

I think i sort of enjoyed rayman 2 for Dreamcast when I rented it as a kid. Maybe i should give it a go again.

It was a solid 3D platformer, as was Rayman 3. Then they went back to 2D with Rayman Origins and it was probably the peak of the series.

Ubisoft definitely had some good shit but managed to ruin them with 00's edge lord nonsense, milk them into mediocrity or just abandon them.
