Some gameplay footage was shown at Mikado today. It's one of those "kill a few things to level up, and the game pauses while you choose one of three different powerups" types of games that get released by low effort indie groups on a daily basis.

I played this at TGS on the PS for teh sticker and my god it was awkward. Look I'm not a Raiden maniac (I'm only really familiar with the first game) but, It's a twin stick shooter... where you control a jet fighter. It's like they slapped the Raiden ship into another game, everything felt generic as all hell and visually controlling the ship like that made zero sense. Graphics reminded me of R-Type Dimensions and it's a late 2024 game release. Mikado needs to disown whoever goobs are in charge of this.
It's incredibly awkward and breaks the flow of the game so much I spent half the demo playtime ignoring it and the other half just spamming whichever option popped up first with the upgrade button, that the game begged me to press every 5 seconds.
At some point I started looking at the demo timer hoping it would end soon. That's not a goo(b) sign.

Hell yeah. But on the brightside, Gwar is next weekend and Blothar has hurt himself so from what i have heard the last few shows have had all the other members doing vocals and playing old shit they never play anymore because its the only songs they know the words too. Man I hope the Richmond date plays out that way as well!!!

Yeah, this is getting savaged in reviews.
Not just the game either, I guess that one of the preorder items is a title screen placard or some such useless thing for Raiden II or DX and since they just took the screenshot directly from MAME it says Great Britain at the bottom. Cash grab release for a cash grab game.
