Does this bother anyone else? I can't explain why, but this one just drives me crazy. The younger generation often calls an arcade cabinet an "arcade".

In my neck of the woods in the 80s-2000s this was unheard of. I also don't think I've ever seen anyone in this forum do it.

They're cabs dammit. Cabs. A collection of cabs in a room is an arcade.

Heh

It bothers me ever so slightly I would say, keep hearing it more often from people from the UK.

Ah well, let's just say, as long as young people still like cabs, keep them in good shape and play games on them, they can call it whatever they want.

Not a fan either. But I think its sort of how "playing nintendo" was ubiquitous with 'playing videogames' when we were kids.

Bare minimum, call em 'arcade cabinets.' or just 'cab.'

There’s no such thing as an arcade.

Still not as bad as people who pronounce NES as if it were a word like, "ness"
