Hi Adamaki,

The PCB is held in place by firm mountings at the sides of the cart slot, it's really the best place to have it held tight to avoid any flex on the board itself. Luckily the Genesis also has a build up chock under its cart slot to support the PCB when the cart is inserted and we we're able just to continue using that as support with the MVS board. I did have to clip off all the excess on the cart slot pins under the PCB and add a couple of thicknesses of auto grade double sided sponge tape to soften the joint too. I neglected to take any pics of that though so it’s sorta hard to explain unless you've seen a bare Genny II shell.

I'm so glad the project has had so much interest, it was a long time coming but it's a pretty tidy little unit over all ;)

Hats off to Roger for the crazy concept in the first place, regular mad man that boy, but it came together in the end :buttrock:

Ohhh fuck...I totally missed this when it was posted originally.
Mucho kick ass job on the console. I love the way it uses the case without looking like a hacked up Genesis. With the exception of some of the original lines, its hard to even tell it started life as a Genesis.

Nice, nice, nice!

You should upload some pics to the SGR if you have a chance.

You are on hilarious Mo' Fo':lol: and I mean it in a honest way.

That is some amazing work you got there, I like to learn from everything so here is my questionaire;

What kind of paint did you use, and how was it applied?

How did you cut the metal and shape it so nicely?

What did you use for lighting a cathode or one of those lighting wires?

Please don't give me the "if I tell ya! i gotta kill yar arse!"

Please let me know where did you find the plastic DB15 male ports, that too in blue color. I would like to purchase a set of these for my project.
