The term comes from the Italian gabinetto, which originated from the Latin capanna, which was used in the sixteenth century to denote a closet or small room. From it originated in the 1600s the English word cabinet or cabinett which was used to denote a small room, particularly in the houses of nobility or royalty. Around this time the use of cabinet associated with small councils arose both in England and other locations such as France and Italy. For example, Francis Bacon used the term Cabanet Counselles in 1607.
Basically cabinet became a synonym for small rooms, and fancy people used to meet with their council of advisors in these small rooms

Maybe Dr Jill is secretly running things, who the fuck knows, haha. I will reiterate Trump is not much better in this regard either. He only won the debate by default as Biden is basically dead. The powers that be are pissing in our faces and telling us it's raining.

The man was an actor that was elected President, and he played the part to the utmost. He did what was responsible at the time, i.e. he was Thatcher's bitch.

I agree about the CA politicians thing, but co-orchestrating the end of the Soviet Union is not nothing.
Reagan was a piece of shit, starting the "war on drugs" while simultaneously running hard drugs into American inner cities to fund his secret wars in Central America, not to mention single handedly kicking off California's long-running homeless problem by cutting funding to the VA and mental institutions, putting tens of thousands of people unequipped to live on their own out on the streets. But he also gave us decades of not having to worry daily about the threat of imminent nuclear war. You might have been too young at the time to have known what that felt like, or to recognize how much easier our lives have been living in a unipolar world these past 35 years. Although that's coming to an end, so get ready for that.
