"very fine people" and "bloodbath" are two widely fact-checked items even among friendly media. Trump had his fair share of nonsense no doubt, but to pretend like the instant rebuttals to candidate statements was just one sided because just one side was lying is retarded.
Those two stories (there was a third one now too that I'm not remembering the details) play well into the white elite liberal portrayal of Trump as a vehement racist while his support among all minority groups is at all time highs, so jokes on them I guess.
Trump did middling to poor last night, took too much bait on personal items and didn't hammer home the message that he should have been focused on all night until his closing statement.
Harris had a terrible opening answer, with a swerve and immediate dodge of the "are people better now than 4 years ago" question, but overall recovered and while her body language performance was off putting to me (the hand under chin bemusement thing looked particularly juvenile), I guess we will see how that plays among the entire electorate.
All in all, seems like it won't move the needle much. Latest polling seems to be showing Trump trending upward, we will see if this debate slows or halts the momentum. I seriously doubt it will reverse much of it.
Seems like no more debates will happen except for the VP one which doesn't take place until after early voting begins in several states, so take your pick America. This is as good as you got.
