Gotta say the PS5 has been the most underwhelming console purchase I've ever had. Where are the games? There's fuck all on this thing except enhanced versions of PS4 games and a whole boatload of fucking trash you'd need a deformed brain to enjoy. To top it off the console looks fucking gay as fuck and now this pro version looks even worse. Mate correct the look of the thing, it looks like it could be going down the catwalk at a fashion show it's that fucked looking.

Most people don't have a gaming PC. It's not that complicated.

That said, I didn't buy a PS5 or Xbox Series either. I barely play(ed) my PS4 and I played my Xbox One even less than that. Maybe half a dozen fighting games and the modern Wolfensteins and Dooms.

The weirdest thing of all is Sony and Microsoft buying game studios and letting them continue making games for each other's platforms.

Microsoft bought id and Activision and Bethesda, but who cares because Doom and Elder Scrolls and Wolfenstein and CoD are still on Playstation.
Sony bought Bungie, but who cares because every single game they've made since then has been multiplatform anyway

I skipped the PS4 so when I decided I wanted to buy it made sense (at the time) to just get the PS5 and cover both generations.
In hindsight I could have just bought a PS4 and only be missing Stellar Blade & Astro Bot.

I'll get one years from now when they're cheap-ish and hackable. $700 is pretty silly for a single-purpose device without many games.
