What's the longest stretch of consecutive days you've worked at your job?

I'm on day 6 of a 10 day stint. I had 4 days off, but, staffing is bad right now, and they needed extra help with doctor appointments and feedings, so, I ended up working every one of my days off instead. I think I worked 12-14 days in a row once.

Current position: Five.

I was salaried but they changed my position to hourly. Cool, I make more money now from overtime and i don’t work on weekends ever, and I don’t respond to messages after I’m off.

Win-Win.

They usually ask me to put in extra hours/days while I'm already there, so, I can't just ignore my phone, but, sometimes I get texts or phone calls too. I always work weekends; every Sunday, and every other Saturday.

At least I can't get mandated to stay and work 16 hours shifts like the CNAs and nurses can.

Im a scaffolder by trade but about 7 years ago I pulled off 38 days in a row. My boss bent the rules quite a bit just to get work and try scam over the competition (which I didn't know at the time). It was usually 21 days with 7 days off and I believe legally you were supposed to take days off after 23, 28? But atleast 1 in order to reset. I honestly forget but I was a young kid who needed money. Haven't worked a 21 in a couple years now. Usually 14 is where its at and you're lucky to get that.

When I worked at Roush my record was nineteen days of 12 hour shifts. That place sucks, never ever going back.

I’ve basically worked 7 days a week for like the past decade so I guess that’s around 25,000 days.

But I’m salaried, not hourly.

So I’m like a poor version of HDR.

14 days straight sounds about right. May have been over 20. The hours total was insane.

some military folks would like to tell you about TDY.

I've been on call the last 15 years, but that's not really actively working. 3 weeks is probably the extent of my work travel at once. Even if I have a longer project, I still fly home for the weekends.

I can't recall if the farm work was 7 days a week or not. So not counting that I think it was 14 days.
EDIT: at current job, only 6.

30 days. But that was when I was a retail manager. Since I switched careers seven years ago, 6 is my max I ever hit.

Whatever the number of days between holidays. I worked in a factory for quite a while and it was holiday to holiday for most of it. That shit got old.

Medieval peasants had more free time.
They didn’t have amphetamine though. Did they even have caffeine for that matter? When did they enslave India for tea?

I did 3 months straight in New Orleans, 12 hours on, 12 hours off a day. That was post Katrina. Since then I probably haven't worked more than 6 days in a row, thank jeebus.

Didn't count. But more than a calendar year. And I've had multiple years were I had 10 days or less without work over the entire 12 months.
