I’ve been wanting to justify getting a Hamilton Pulsar for funzies for a while and thought maybe an Armitron Griffy could temporarily scratch that itch so I ordered one from Amazon. It’s a “men’s” watch but is only 32 mm and looks like a kids watch on my wrist it’s comically small I can’t do less than 42 mm, anything else looks so small to me.

I also looked at getting both an original or the new recreations of a red led watch. Ultimately I think the cheap knock offs are close enough for a novelty watch.

Saw this at the store today. I'm trying not to go back.

This one's pretty great, too, but needs a new bracelet. The Heuer-only Professional without the "Tag" is so much better than the more common logo one. I love it but I can't justify that much for gold-plated / quartz.

My dad got one of those new white dial speedmasters. It looks pretty sharp in person

Yeah it’s hideous, which is a shame, because Death Stranding has such cool design elements. They could’ve made something that aligns more with the gorpcore style of the game. The Dune watch was fugly as well.

I'd imagine they're popular mainly for the look, but they are typically built to be quite a bit tougher than the standard stuff, and the water resistance is always nice. Also, James Bond.
