I don't mind new Neo games/homebrews as long as they're good and available on NGCD (or digital if you have a SD cart). I don't wanna shell out big time for carts of homebrews coz that's reserved for official releases in my world. For instance, if for some reason the current SNK decided to release a cool new game or even an official new run of Metal Slug homecarts, I might be tempted to buy one but a homebrew on a possibly sac'ed cart for hundreds? Not interested. Not possibul. Go away.

It’s available on steam, switch, ps4/5, etc. exact same game on all platforms with a slight edge due to multiple video settings not available on neogeo. So if you want to play the game, you can play it without shelling out hundreds.

How do you guys feel about new Neo-Geo games being made? Do you think the library is good enough and should be left alone, or do you like the idea of more games being made for the system in this era?
I prefer just paying for a Neo Geo ROM to run on my Neo SD at this point. I want to support the dev and play on the original hardware it was developed for, but I don't feel like shelling out hundreds for a cart just because it's a Neo Geo game.

I agree, it would be convenient to just boot it off the NeoSD, but I get what they're doing. You can find Xeno Crisis commonly in rom packs now. I don't think I would like having my work bootlegged. As @NeoCverA mentioned, the same game is available on modern platforms too, so everyone can play it.

They work with Terraonion, so you can just pirate it and call it a day.

As for the MVS components, I am hoping at some point in the future, we can at least offer up official art for people to get this stuff taken care of at the very minimum.

We never advertised as having these things with the purchase but I do understand the desire for them and hope to provide options when/if possible down the road.

Anyone know where these ship from? Stone Age Gamer has pushed out the ship date three times now. It was initially set for Dec 15th, then it was January, then February, and now even later in February. Clearly NALUA is shipping since other folks have got theirs, so I wonder what the hold-up is.
I made a post about this as I finally got all the info as to the reason why the SAG order had not shipped out despite all the carts having been ready to go for a while now. We're doing everything we can to get these moving, but we're stuck behind some update that didn't quite work out for the customs department where the carts are shipping from and some dumb politics. Really bad timing of when the update happened and when the carts were going out :(

It is not SAG's fault. If people feel the need to contact anybody about this, direct them to me on Twitter or myself or Bari in the Nalua Discord. I will gladly explain the situation if they have questions beyond what I wrote in those tweets.

Greetings. I am just finding out about this game and was doing research. I after some reading/searching I landed here and read a bit on terraonion. This is how out of loop I am. Was this comment to indicate terraonion is partnered with the developer or the game or that terraonion carts have rompacks with this game included? Maybe I read too much into your comment.

I was looking to see if they sold the ROM but no luck. I don't have a xbox/ps5 or a gaming PC. I do have a Mister as I usually just play my old games.

He was just shitposting. However, at some point in the future we plan to release a ROM that will be playable on NeoSD NeoSD/Pro that you can purchase. It will only be playable on that setup though. Which I know won't work for everyone, but it is at least something that will work for some. It will probably be a while before that happens. Sadly, no support for MiSTer. I looked into how we could maybe make that happen a while back and there just wasn't a good way at the time to pull it off. I also have/use MiSTer quite a bit.

The game is available on the Switch as well if you have one.

Terraonion has earned its reputation. There are enough threads here. Moving to discord and deleting the forums just made it easier for them to ban people for no reason. They take your money and then you're fucked when you need support.

The PC requirements should be pretty low, so I would think just about any PC from the last decade would be able to run it.

Looks like you can get a working Xbox One on ebay for under $100.

Thank you for the confirmation however the NeoSD is going for ~$1.5k (used) on ebay. Not a viable option.

I do have a switch, but not available (with nephew, who knows what state it's in). All these are my own hurdles to overcome. (not asking you to fix these for me just adding color :) )

Regardless, thank you for the info very helpful! Moreover, kudos to you guys(assuming you are developer/publisher) as the game looks amazing - Great Job! Maybe make an action platformer?

Firstly, you are the reason I know of the game. I follow your channel (nice BTW) on neo geo and saw your summary recently posted.

It is not appealing to me get hardware to then have to unload it. I don't keep old stuff, or have a collector

I understand the piracy concerns which are certainly driving their protection of their game. Margins are tight and they ain't devloping for fun or for their health.
The AES version of the NeoSD Pro is in stock at Stoneagegamer:

Thank you!

Thanks for the update. I checked NALUA's website a while back and didn't see anything about it, and I don't have Twitter, so can't see anything there. Glad coming here shed some light on things.

Delays happen, and it may not be SAG's fault, but I feel like they should at least communicate with their customers. A simple bulk email would have been fine.
