Pretty decent fighter although the slowdown hinders it. Luckily for us there is a 60 FPS mod and even a translation patch. At the moment the two patches cannot be combined. Will be cool when both can be used together.

Version 1.4 is out. English patch works with the 60fps hack as of 1.3

Don't you love when remasters fuck up the colors. I had to buy the dvd version of batman beyond for the non-goobified version.

I've found that I often like the DVD versions of series over bluray for stuff that was broadcast in SD. My bluray player can upscale better than whatever most of the bluray authors do to those releases.

Just picked up a Nomad this week. It's in nice condition, and included the 6 AA battery pack. I have a bunch of rechargeable batteries, but I might get this modern pack they make for it once I see how bad the battery life is with the current one.

I took it apart to clean it all up and swap out the scratched up lens with a new glass one, and I was pleased with how clean everything was. Nothing appeared to be leaking or out of order.

The original screen is as good as you can hope for with one of these, which is of course, not great. Haha. So I'll probably put in a modern LCD or TFT at some point. Even just a cheap one off alliexpress or somewhere will be an improvement on a mid-90s screen. I've done a few Gameboys over the years, so I think I can probably handle it.

Nice Musha! Im not a huge fan of that game but I really love the intro and spritework in it. Gratz on the Nomad! They don't get talked about enough nowadays, they're absolutely fantastic to have. Especially love you can just plug in a Scart/component cable right into them too. Also as someone with medium/large hands I find them extremely comfortable. I really like that none of Segas portables make fingers go numb holding the back because of their thiccness, unlike a lot of Nintendo shit does to me.

Got a new “smart” phone iPhone 15 pro max and they added pronouns to it under contacts as of iOS 17. Blue titanium color. So I did the right thing and asked my bro what his preferred pronouns are. It can be anything you want as long as its 10 characters or less. If your pronoun is over 10 letters get the fuck out of here.

Iphone adding these pronouns is assassin.

My hands are on the large side as well, and I completely agree about the comfort. Back in the day, I preferred the xbox "Duke" controller to the befuddlement of my buddies. Haha

Same, but I think after years of playing in the Xbox environment's newer consoles, I finally prefer the S when I go back now.
