I mean what? the fuck is wrong with youi mean, ok.
How are the caps?
I’d start with caps, and then maybe adjust the purity ring, but almost always the caps.I got it the other day, calibrated it the best I could, but haven’t opened it up. Brightness is turned way down and they’re still there. Maybe a bit better than this picture, but there nonetheless.
I’m fine to recap it and see if that helps anything though. I looked quickly but didn’t see a place that sells kits for this (14N6U). Any pointers there?
I've always wanted a tate and yoko setup.Damn, be sure to post some pics when they’re cleaned up and tuned. I’d love to get one of those someday.
It’s really the way to go, I’ve had several over the years. I run a system selector reversed so I can choose which monitor the video goes to.I've always wanted a tate and yoko setup.

fucking CRTs
That's a really great idea. You just blew my mind lolThat game is so good.
One thing I used to do with various systems having different overscan areas is to use the over/underscan options and adjust them independently. Then that basically gives you three different settings you can change on the fly. For example, I might have the regular geometry set with a CPS2 test pattern, and the underscan button is adjusted with a Genesis game to eliminate all color borders in Sonic, so when I play a Genesis game I just press the underscan button.
