Saw that NeoCverA shared the mockup and games list for this earlier. I didn’t see any Neo Geo branding on this one so far and it reminded me of the “FunR1” arcade stick product Unico was selling before they began focusing on their new candy cab unit.
I have one of those R1 units.Saw that NeoCverA shared the mockup and games list for this earlier. I didn’t see any Neo Geo branding on this one so far and it reminded me of the “FunR1” arcade stick product Unico was selling before they began focusing on their new candy cab unit.

Similar to this new handheld, the FunR1 had preloaded Neo Geo games, but with no Neo Geo branding that I could see (in contrast, the MVSX has the SNK and Neo Geo logos/branding on the units).
Not sure where this new handheld product fits in their existing catalog since it looked like the main Unico site was redone to focus primarily on selling their rotating screen candy cab product. Time will tell.
Either way, the other neogeo hardware that was teased pre-pandemic remains lost to time:

Yerr. What's up with the licensing for Neo Turf Masters? Nobody likes Top Golf.
Also, the handheld looks awful - dual analog sticks?!
I proposed this and it was turned down. View attachment 79893

Me tooI would buy this.
One more and I can build a house!Handheld? Nah, what we need are more preloaded mini rom boxes.
Nope! If you have one, it's your duty to toss it in the garbage. Although I admit if I had one I would probably sell it to some moron on ebay.A decade after Tommo's Neo Geo X... You might actually find yourself missing it.
