I like how the anti-abortionist will do everything to force that baby to be born, but the second it's born they'll call it a "welfare baby" and try to stop social help to both the child and the mother.
If you really cared about life, wouldn't you also be supporting universal healthcare and shit to ensure everyone lives longer ?
It has nothing to do with saving lives, it's all about controlling a woman.

Aside from the moral arguement,
which is stupid to argue about because
whoever argueing will argue due to their moral convictions,
which is not something anyone can be argued out of;
what needs to be considered is the overall costs of
raising a child vs an abortion.
Let's mainly consider a single mother model.
The burden of having an unwanted child
becomes a life changing financial burden on the mother
as well as any support system (family mostly)
that the mother can find assistance with.
Aside from the expense of having the child,
prenatal care may or may not be available unless
the mother has the funds or find state/federal subsidies.
The mother will not be able to work for close to three months
after birth, plus is the baby well? Because if the mother
can't get medical care for the child, will the child develop
life long conditions? Who knows.
But the mother will probably be involved with medicade,
welfare, and whatever kind of "govt handout" available.
The effect of the child also arguably would keep the mother and
the child in a poverty to low socioeconomic demographic.
One could argue that the mother and child would remain
in that demographic since the deciding factor that
changes that sort of thing would be education,
which is something on the downswing,
which also is something that needs to be reinforced at home,
which is hard for a single mother which probably would have
to work two jobs to even cover costs.
So not getting into the minutia of it all,
the major costs effect the mother, her family,
and the government programs that the mother will
take advantage of.
The financial footprint is considerably larger than an abortion.
Also, I agree with Domino, it's a slap.

ive been hearing alot about the stupid laws the republican congress is trying to pass lately,but what puzzles me is some of this shit is like super old. Why wasnt all this done during the bush years when republicans had even more control than they do now? What the fuck were they saving these stupid bills?

For some reason I can deal with that --mostly because it tells me if an email is not as thorough as I expected, or a person seems harder to reach (business), that they're out and about or something.

fetuses are scary.
Also, the fetus will not live outside the womb. It's not an individual life in being.
Extending people's lives is a good thing.
