When was the last time you saw a neo geo in arcades?

The local indie gamestore/arcade has a couple of Neo cabs, usually filled with good games. I like it since he likes to put some odd/rare games in there that I don't already have.

Last year I saw a really worn down mini cab with MS2 next to the vending machines at some motel in New Mexico. The plexiglass was so hazy that I could barely see the screen.

Canyon Burgers in RWC still has an old beat-up v3 4slot with an out of focus monitor. And I still religiously pump in a quarter for Metal Slug 5 or BAM while I wait for my meal.

Mountain Mike's Pizza in Mountain View had a 2 slot w/ Aero Fighters & 'Slug 1 last year.

The Garret Station in Los Gatos had a dedicated Andro Dunos (!) and an Indiana Jones pin.

CA rules, and PA drools in many regards-including arcading while you eat.

It has been a long time since saw an actual Neo cab with markings and stuff but as for just an mvs game itself there is a Video Master cabinet that has appeared in two local Diners (Chicken related Take-Away's) near me in the last two years,the game inside is Shock Troopers so it could be owned by some one maybe even an arcade collector trying to make a bit of money.
If so I wish them the best of luck as they are going to need it,not that there is a problem with the game as i love ST but i mean good luck with trying to make money off games located in amenities.

If you're talking legitimate red Neo cab (these were assembled by LAI here in Australia), it would be early 90's.

I've come across a couple of cabs in the last five years with a two slot running MS1 and Puzzle Bobble.

Have not seen a big red for 10 years in the arcades. The biggest arcade still operating in this state has not got a single neo geo game at all. Everything is redemption, racing and shooting (with plastic guns) games. There was one fighting game, no schmups. It saddened me walking through that place.

That's what arcades have nowadays. The arcade I went to has a half the place devoted to racing games and the other half to ticket games. The only fighting games in there are SS4, Tekken 5 and 6. Oh, and no shmups. I went to another arcade with NO fighting games, just mostly ticket games and gun games. I have never seen a real neo geo with the red and stuff. The ms3 that I mentioned in the original post was some white cab and it looked like it was built from a kit.

A laundromat in Brawley, CA (small town). I was working down there about a month ago and had to do laundry and noticed it. Can't recall what games it had but it think it was a 2-slot.

There's a laundromat east of St. Paul that has a converted cab running Metal Slug X in it, 3 years ago a local used game shop had a 4-slot big red in it...which now resides in my living room. None of the casinos around here have any, however the Mall of America did have a Marvel vs Capcom 2 machine in it as of last winter hidden among the ticket games...

No arcades near me for years at this point. However, there IS a laundromat downtown that I pass by occasionally (it's right near where I get my hair cut) that has a Ms Pac-Man and a BEAUTIFUL 4slot big red. I so want to just walk in there one day with a dolly and wheel it right outta there. I could probably get away with it, but I'm sure their security footage would end up busting me in the end

There's a Mexican joint 20 mins from me that has a 2-slot that probably hasnt' been cleaned since the early 90's. Controls barely work, marquee is trashed, and the guy has amusement stickers all over it. I probably haven't been there in a year, so we'll say a year.

The only game I would play out of that bunch is ms3.
