That first set of buttons are red.
Potato camera makes them look pink.
Swapped out the standard spring for a 4#.
So far I like it for fighters, sucks on shooters.

Any good recommendations for Switch compatible sticks? I never intended to have fighting games on Switch, but he we are.

First question is do you already have an arcade stick you use and like?
The switch is one of the most supported consoles out there as far as controllers go, you really shouldn't have much trouble finding an adapter that works, Hell some newer sticks work and aren't even listed as working.

The stock F300 is about $60 and for a basic entry level stick is good. (The one in the previous picture is mine after I modded it)
It's also compatible with a bunch of other stuff.
An upgraded version that comes with Sanwa parts already installed is also available for around $100.
It's called the F300 Elite.

They also make a physically larger stick called the F500 that has a standard & Elite version.
It's a little more expensive and on a do-over I might have bought one of these instead.

MONOPRICE of all places has a decent looking stick that comes from the factory with Sanwa parts for about $120.
I'm dumb so I keep thinking about buying it.

8Bitdo Makes a wireless one that works.
Ive heard mixed reviews about it but it's probably ok.

Hori was making a nice looking official stick for a while, you would probably have to get one of these from eBay now.

If you're wanting something with OG HAPP/IL (American style) lever/buttons you pretty much have to go custom these days.

I use the 8bitdo wireless stick. Ordered Sanwa stick and buttons bundle from Amazon and just swapped out the stock stuff. I have better quality sticks I could use but find myself always using the 8bitdo just for convenience. I have the 2.4g dongle hooked up to my mister and purchased the Bluetooth dongle for my pc. It pairs to the switch without the need for a dongle.

I have a VSHG with all the insides ripped out, and a brook ps4 fighting board in. Works on everything I've tried, and is obviously one of the best home arcade sticks.

Are those still the stock sticks on the real arcades?
I think the PS2 one is. I replaced the buttons on that one with some knock off happ competitions that started ok then turned to shit.
The current plan is to completely gut it then install a industrias lorenzo euro lever and try to fit some sanwa buttons to make a hybrid of sorts.
Run it off the new brook universal fusion.

The NEO•GEO stick it 101% OG Happ competition lever and buttons (convex).

Is a Happ lever in these originally?

The pelican sticks?
No. They were pretty good copies though.
The stock buttons however were absolute garbage.

That is what the stock PS2 one looks like.

Made this NEO 19 art partially inspired by a great Neo 29 stick posted on here by Dignac a few years back

Rest of my collection. Got a bit carried away once I figured out putting together my own custom art.

I've had this Jasen's Custom stick for like a decade. It weighs about 100 lbs and is wired for Neo Geo. Excellent stick.

I bought the 8BitDo this weekend to play Mario Wonder on as my wrists/elbows suffer from injuries now as an old man. I've never played Mario with a stick before and it took some getting used to but now I really like playing that way. For a $90 stick this 8BitDo is impressive.
