I don't know, was there ever such thing as glory days with SNK? In the terms mentioned above I mean.
Things are just different now.
Japan is the spiritual home of arcade and console gaming and little else.


Magician Lord could be something to exploit for instance

Does SNK have a publicly available balance sheet? I'd like to see how substantial the company even is these days.

What do they do besides develop one new game every three or so years? They still making pachinko machines?

SNK hasn't made a pachinko machine in a long time and I hope they never do again.

I think it's called world tour mode?
I don't know, I'm having a hard time getting into SF6.

Talk is cheap, but SNK is clearly on an upward trend unlike the other times where they were either mid or spiraling downward when they said this.

They also have lots of Saudi blood money backing them whereas previous times funding was minimal at best.

BTW, totally want one of those SNK/Neo-Geo branded razer gaming chairs now as seen in the IGN article.

If they successfully reboot a dead none-fighting game franchise like Magician Lord 2 or something then I would start believing them but they are far away from that realm. Hasnt happen that many times in history Ninja Gaiden, Metal Gear come to mind.
