Question for Matrimelee owners...

This has probably been asked and answered before, and if so* an apology in advance...

The other day I was looking at classic gaming sites, and saw some pics of Power Instinct. I never got to play the game much, but I always thought the character of Angela Belti was very unique and cool. Muscular chicks aren't really my thing, but something about Angela makes her a really attractive video game girl to me.

So the question is, does she make an appearance in Matrimelee? I tried searches on the 'net, and even ran a search here, but turned up squat.

If she's in there, how does she play? She look as hot as in the original? I may even have to save up for the cart if she's in it.

I know, I'm pathetic...

Thanks Average Joe. I guess this is a mixed bag, it sucks that a cool character like that isn't getting developed further, but good news that I can now concentrate on just saving for Metal Slug 5.

I can't help but think it may be because she is exactly so different from the "standard" by which video game girls are designed. Or maybe it's a triggering of the memory of those days when I'd watch Body Shaping on ESPN religiously just for some nice shots of Cory Everson and Kiana Tom (I was still a horny and sexually frustrated teen, and these chicks fit the visual bill, along side the girls on the She-Ra cartoon, but that's a whole other can of worms). Or maybe- Aw screw it. Why explain and analyze something to death? Do that and you take the fun out of it...

And for the record, I wasn't going to plink down the money based on one character being in the game. She would've been merely a factor towards the consideration picking it up. I'm not that far gone...yet.

No offense, but didn't you say Metal Slug 4 was a great game too? Sorry, I can't bring myself to play that because of all the copy and paste in it.

Would you say Matrimelee would appease a graphics-whore like me? How does it play? On par with KOF or Real Bout?

Matrimelee is by far the best Neo release in the last 3-4 years... no joke. There are a ton of threads going here already about it... the game is GREAT!

IT doesn't play at all like a KOF, think more of a Waku Waku 7 or Breakers Revenge, probably a marriage of the two. Pure insanity, pretty good graphics (not the best, but deffinetly good!) and great music, some of the best on the system by far. Put it all together with some decent competition, Princess Sissy owns and is hard as hell, and you have a winning game... I love it.

The only thing I would remove are the lame ROTD character fights, they seem out of place, but not enough to detract from the game any.

So to reiterate... Get it... GET IT!

Oh no, you wasn't alone. That's why I broke my damn neck to buy the Playboy Kiana Tom appeared in. After all those memories and something like 10 or 15 years of hoping against hope, it was a dream come true getting to finally see all of Ms. Tom. She's every bit as hot as I imagined...

For some reason, those chicks on the new work-out shows on ESPN just don't have the same charm. But then, maybe it's the fact I'm a sexually frustrated old basturd now instead of a sexually frustrated teen and I got different standards.

Either way, Angela is the only video game girl that has that same appeal for me that the old work-out girls did at one time. Shame there aren't more girls like her, but maybe a little less cut and developed...
