Imported one when Gamestop had them for 99 bucks. Don't bother, it's just collecting dust since the initial goobing in the first weeks.
It's fine to play some Indie games or old stuff like Fallout New Vegas I guess. Looks good on an Atari shrine though.

Yeah I hear you, and tbh, I couldn’t care less for Atari before 7800.

Started my goobing with an Atari 130XE, I kind of quit collecting after the VCS.
Had lot's of nostalgia for Atari when I still collected but I also knew it's dead for decades.

I'd be embarrassed to be your mom.
What is sad is that you are a goob trying to prove that you are less of a mouth-breather than the rest of us. And for who? For what?
Speaking of useless crap: I remember you trying to sell some SNK laser discs. I'm sure at some point you thought you'd made an excellent purchase.

You only live once, enjoy life to the fullest. And if that means buying old technology and playing with it, then so be it.
Be less gay and less judgemental.

Touched a nerve, eh?

Lol, you're a fucking idiot. One of these days you'll come to the realization of how much money you've wasted... of course it'll be too late for you by then.

Eh not really. I do sell stuff from time to time. I only buy stuff from money I made selling . So that kinda works out. This shit goes up and up in value and deals are still out there. You just got to look out for them

Anyone know if you can get replacement cases for these weird PS1 games?

Yeah, Capcom went through a period of using a non-standard case during most of the PSX's life, both in Japan, and in Europe (not sure about the US). I've not seen someone offer a replacement case, but if they were anywhere, they'd be on eBay.

I've seen the euro ones.
Very similar but they lack the gray "frame" around the front insert.
I'm also not sure if the spine width is the same or not.

Buy a cheaper donor and change the cases. Sell or gift the donor game to someone. Sane peeps can live with a crack, just sayin'.

I think the spine width is the same in most cases... unfortunately the "big box" PSX cases are a bit of a mine field...

So - Not really a "new purchase" but small project I'm quite happy with. Finally put in the effort to flesh out my racing sim set up and make its own section in the game room. I now have a fully functioning classic arcade racing set up with full force feedback functionality. It's pretty baller. It's freaking awesome to play Scud Race and Daytona 2 especially. Also good access to Outrun 1 and 2. The sim stuff is great and all, but nothing beats these old Sega racers...now, somehow need to get this working with the PS3 Emulator for Ridge Racer 7...🤔
