So - Not really a "new purchase" but small project I'm quite happy with. Finally put in the effort to flesh out my racing sim set up and make its own section in the game room. I now have a fully functioning classic arcade racing set up with full force feedback functionality. It's pretty baller. It's freaking awesome to play Scud Race and Daytona 2 especially. Also good access to Outrun 1 and 2. The sim stuff is great and all, but nothing beats these old Sega racers...now, somehow need to get this working with the PS3 Emulator for Ridge Racer 7...🤔

I've seen the euro ones.
Very similar but they lack the gray "frame" around the front insert.
I'm also not sure if the spine width is the same or not.
If you want to replace buy a super cheap game on auctions yahoo. A lot of unwanted games came in these sort of cases.

$100 for the SNES version of WW is pretty silly. But the packaging is pretty cool.

I can remember when this was the best thread outside the war room. Bukovsky give me strength.

My video game obsession began in 1988. Appreciate your question.

But....but...you should already have SF on SNES.

Similar issue with some of Krikzz's early Everdrives I think. 3v chips in 5v systems. Catching fire seems highly unlikely but it is possible to adjust the voltage to the proper level.

The Street Fighter II anniversary cartridge has a voltage level translator inside to compensate for the 3v/5v difference. So it shouldn't be an issue.

The SNES is pretty bulletproof regardless. It's a non-issue imo.

Agreed, but I personally wouldn't have bought the iam8bit cartridge if they had cheaped out and not included a voltage level translator. The packaging and goodies are nice and cute and all, but if they were going to charge $100, it would have been pretty lame to not include the voltage translator. Thankfully they did.

On one hand it's a pretty dumb item, on the other hand, after 7 years of wanting it, it was time to just accept I'm dumb and buy it.
