Would you swap places, given the opportunity? Ignore the money, assume you're fit etc.

I'd like to think I would. I'd certainly get in a rocket before you found me in one of those mini submarines, even before the imploded one.

Ignoring the whole private military corporation thing? Sure, I'd do a spacewalk.

That famous spacewalk picture, you know the one, used to give me sweaty palms in the 90s. I used to imagine what would happen if the guy fell into space and just floated forever.

Hell yeah I'd do it.

@lithy would you leave this rock and your family forever if aliens tomorrow came down and said they'd take you to their world

Those billionaires didn't even do a spacewalk. They just looked out a bit and stayed there. Honestly, don't blame em. Takes nerves of steel to do a real space walk.

Starship got scrubbed on Monday, supposedly targeting a 6:30pm EST launch time today.

A successful launch and stage separation, successful main stage booster catch, but loss of the second stage after it started tumbling.

I can't seem to add a video link since they're all showing as live links maybe? I'm assuming I can find something tomorrow to put here.

Solid evidence of life on other planets is looking more and more realisable every day. What a time to be alive, truly amazing.

I wonder what it will do to humanity if it becomes 'true', unite us, split us further?

Oh man, imagine if the aliens take you to their world and then they're all like, btw, there's no oxygen on our world. You have to breathe nitrogen now. And then you step out the spaceship and immediately die.

Akshully...78% of the air you breathe is nitrogen. Unless you're at Rot's house. Then it's 78% sulphur.

North Mars > South Mars

Professor Farnsworth: This is quite a large ranch you have.

Leo Wong: 17.9 billion acres. We own entire Western Hemisphere. That the best hemisphere.

Professor Farnsworth: It's the same on Earth.
