Nice project but are we really going to buy a Jaguar for this?
Not sure.
I always walk around with my mouth closed just in case.I just saw that this fella had a new video come out, and remembered this thread. So out of curiosity, I checked his video list since last year, and noticed that in all of his "youtube face" thumbnails, he no longer has his mouth gaping open.
I'd like to think that he saw my post (with the addition of lach's stunning artwork) in this thread last year, and thought better of it. You're welcome.
Mortal Kombat (Atari Jaguar)(Homebrew)
Another beautiful fan-made project https://www.timeextension.com/news/2023/11/mortal-kombat-is-getting-a-fanmade-jaguar-port-over-30-years-laterwww.neo-geo.com
@Everyone's already got one for Kasumi Ninja and Ultra Vortek
What purpose did this serve? If your gonna waste your time at least do MK2.
He does. What purpose did this serve? If your gonna waste your time at least do MK2.
it can barely do mk1 and the guy's probably too deep into it to give up and go do MK2 for a less goobed up system anywayWhat purpose did this serve? If your gonna waste your time at least do MK2.
Makes senseit can barely do mk1 and the guy's probably too deep into it to give up and go do MK2 for a less goobed up system anyway
An equally kaka goobtastic system. He does.
But on the 3DO. Due to ROM size constraints.
To be fair I’ve really never played 3do but anything I would be interested in has had better ports since.I still say the lack of Mortal Kombat on Atari Jaguar, the biggest American game of that year, not on an all-American console, is one of the biggest failures in all of gaming.
And the 3DO is actually really great. It's got over 4 times as many games as the Jaguar, not even close to the same level of failure.
If I remember back in the day people swore that Road Rash on 3DO was the best port. And Gex. Johnny Bazookatone was another. To be fair I’ve really never played 3do but anything I would be interested in has had better ports since.
