Yeah fair to say idiots are definitely still a thing in 2024 so if it’s branded and you can show it on social media guess that’s the market.

Artificial scarcity is so dumb. Especially on literal pieces of paper. It's just the company manipulating its customers. I've always been suspicious of a company with "Limited Run" in its name.

Back in the day it would have been pretty neat, but the video game “collectibles” market is so over saturated it just isn’t needed. I too- can not imagine why people want so many things like this. Collecting video games was always about the games, not all the other junk.

I had a stack of those. Was able to make somebody happy with them. He gave me a crap snes game in return

Well the rereleased Pokemon 151 cards have been selling like hotcakes to middle aged goobs. It’s genius really, sell about £1 worth of junk card and paper to idiots for £120.


I can’t flaw a business trying to make money, but LRG won’t be getting any of mine for these overpriced pointless trading cards.

It's the price that is staggering. This is the same price as a Magic the Gathering set box. You get less cards, and most definitely lower quality.

And with MTG you're also paying for the many hours they dedicated to building an excellent game. These are just pictures we've all seen a million times.

If LRG turned this into a CCG, that would at least make this interesting.
