What sports games would have suited the Neo Geo well?

Off all sports that are out there (whether obscure or not) think for a sec about:

- What sport, that is not already represented on the system, would be awesome as a Neo Geo game?
- By which developer should it be/have been developed?


If Nazca can make golf exciting, I would have loved to see them take a shot at a snooker game!

There's already a massive selection of sports titles on the Neo Geo....

It would have been cool to have a Tennis game with some sci fi thrown in like Baseball 2020 and Flip Shot.

Besides tennis which would have made a great arcade game, I would have played a roller derby game developed by Visco or something equally as wacky.

I'd love for Neobitz to make a game similar to Knight's Chance but with somewhat obscure sport mini games instead of casino-style ones. Archery/darts/target shooting, fishing, mini golf, rock/mountain climbing (avoid obstacles while the mountain scales upward - your score is your distance from the ground), and sky diving (onto targets) would be good events/mini games.

I think an ice hockey game ala Hit the Ice could have worked well on the NG. Though there aren't very many of them out there, I've always wondered if a Lacrosse game could have been done.

I think thise ideas are great. Imagine a hockey game like hit the ice, with the fight sequences of blades of steel, but SNK-style.

Lacrosse seems kinda fitting too. Might have been something for Data East!

Hope Neobitz or NGdev Team will someday make some new sports games for the Neo.

It's odd that none of NG: DEV team games has 2 player options. Not having a 2P option in a sports game would be a deal breaker.

I'm going with tennis in the style of smash court by Namco or for something different perhaps the Irish sport of hurling would translate well to the neo.

I agree with most of you guys in that there should have been a tennis or hockey game for the system. Though not popular in the US, I would have like to have seen a team handball game for the system. I think they would have done a great job with that. Think of it as a cross between SuperSidekicks and Windjammers.

I would have liked to see a Arcade tennis game on neo geo but i think that one Arcade hockey game would have been nice too.
If SNK or Nazca had developed these games, they would have had great success and now would be great classics
