They still sell soundtracks i just went with CDjapan since it was the cheapest i seen for the macross dyrl 4k set.CDJapan used to be one of the biggest music and co sellers from Japan for an outside audience.
not sure if that changed.

I watched frieren last week on netflik and i did watch it all the way through.Sure it's a slow burn with not much action but i found the series to be charming to say the least.Still season two can't come soon enough but it's not until 2026.I think some series are meant to be consumed more gradually and not binged.
I think binging a show like Frieren is antithetical to what the series' themes are.
Frieren is a stellar example of what the medium of anime can do in telling a story. I'd say that the manga is just as good.
I'm glad you're enjoying it.
Although it was touted as one of the selling points of Netflix ten years ago, I think binge watching shows in general is a terrible way to enjoy television. It makes it so much more disposable. My normal inclination when I find a show I like is to just binge the hell out of it, but despite how I feel towards this I'm inversely inclined to take my time with it.
Perhaps that is the theme/pacing of it rubbing off on me and realizing that some things are better when slowed down and considered instead of just being consumed for the sake of consuming.
I'm not going to say that you 'did it wrong' but the action is really besides the point. In this series, the action is the 'thing they have to do' to get to the meat of the story. Whereas with other shows that are supposedly anti-violence, they seem to go out of their way to show you how awesome, stylish and cool violence can be. Frieren has its moments of spectacle but overall, it does a good job avoiding narrative dissonance. None of the heroes want to be killing people or even demons. It's just an inevitable part of the job that I'm sure most of them would have preferred to avoid. Even Eisen trembles before every fight because he's scared and would rather chop wood all day.I watched frieren last week on netflik and i did watch it all the way through.Sure it's a slow burn with not much action but i found the series to be charming to say the least.Still season two can't come soon enough but it's not until 2026.
