@Teddy KGB -Nope, just the view of a man on the street. Thanks for appreciating what I’m trying to get across!
Miss you, buddy.

bruh where muh deer at

I haven't forgotten, but I have yet to see any down here either. :(

If I had known I would've taken some pics of deer for you while I was still in Pittsburgh. They're so out of control that in 2023 the city government decided to allow people to hunt them (bows, no guns) inside city parks. I've seen them just chillin, eating bushes, in the middle of the busy Pitt campus. One jumped out in front of me when I pulled a 20 foot moving truck out on to a busy road barely a mile outside of downtown. They're fuckin' everywhere, man. I've never seen deer in the inner city except for Pittsburgh. It's insane. lol

Late April is when the frogs come out, and luckily captured the whole frog life cycle this week in a pond.

The entire black area is made of tadpoles. Too bad you can't see them wriggle like I did:

Those are great. Any wildlife?

Thanks!

Sadly, no. We looked for critters in the calmer pools of water that we could get up close to, but didn't see anything. It's still relatively cool (still saw patches of snow/ice), so maybe when it starts to warm up more...?

Also, My youngest just turned 6 so we didn't do any long trails...the longest was just about a mile. Maybe once we start venturing deeper into the woods/mountains on longer trails we'll see more.

I have returned from the lands of wind.
If you ever have the chance, check out the Isle of Harris, crazy place. While Lewis is about 85% moorland, Harris is mostly hills and fuckhuge cliffs with lochs in between them, already quite the experience just driving to it from Lewis.

All of these except the third were taken on Lewis. First picture is of the Butt of Lewis (yes, I know), second is Stornoway from the WW1 war memorial on the hill, third is Luskentrye Beach on Harris, forth is the war memorial tower and the fifte is Stornoway with the Lews Castle (a "fake" castle, as it was built in the 1850's) grounds on the right.

And Stornoway just look like a slightly more dilapidated version of Kirkwall on Orkney. These small scottish cities look pretty similar.
