Looks cool. Wonder how long it will take to get released commercially and what the price will be.

I'm excited.

Who knows what the next guy can come up with?

Shit I haven't even gotten a Rhea yet and here they may already found a better way to go? Good stuff. That video was super interesting too.

Liked the little tidbit on the little grooves of the discs.

Yeah, this has really received a lot of attention in just a few days. Look at the view count on that youtube video.

I wonder what the market is willing to spend on something like this.
PS-IO is about $100. I would probably pay around $150 at most for this.

It's probably more than a year out in its current form.

Yeah, and the video shows an image of a dev kit disc with a NGF watermark on it.

Looks really promising. Let's see about pricing and such if this gets released sometime.
Couldn't get a modchip for my system and this would be rad.

The comment he made at the end about putting in a 2.5" hdd in there made my no no parts go "yes yes."

Pretty much. I've been waiting for a user-friendly solution like an everdrive, and this takes the cake. If he can manage to get the hard drive in there without heat being an issue, that would be awesome, tho I will be happy the USB option as well.

yeah a 2.5 would be awesome. 500GB hard drives are plentiful and have way more then enough space to have every game (probably even both regions of the same game like SF ZERO / SF ALPHA) and still have tons of space left over.

Best case scenario I think would be a high capacity thumb drive since 128 are only like 30 bucks and 256 are becoming reasonable.

You start adding in the thousand or so Japanese library and space gets tighter.

The worthwhile titles should fit.

Very true. I would wager 128GB sufficient

500GB only if you want like every game on there including all the bullshit pachinko and mahjong stuff
