Emulators and ISOs have been possible on the PS3 for months. What this does is allow the possibility to load custom firmware and make the hacking process cheaper and easier (like the softmods for the Wii).

Well, now that I know for sure that Sony can never fix this exploit via firmware updates, I guess I can start using the PSN again. At least until someone actually releases a custom firmware anyway.

I was hoping that this was something that involved Sony's new handheld being as powerful as the PS3.

My PS3 already does most everything I want it to.

What I would love is an easy way to play psone/pstwo games from the HD. THat would be a dream.

Until it matches the old Xbox in goodness count me in. If it can play PSX and PS2 isos easily, twould be grand.
