Getting ports of Star Gladiator and both Power Stones was not on my bingo card.

There's no tate mode in the new Castlevania Collection but there are multiple screen configuration options. There's also USA/JPN/EUR versions for all the games.

I didn’t know the pro controller could get drift. That’s annoying. I’ve temporarily fixed my joycon with the qtip and alcohol trick.

A bit late in the game, but I finally retired my pro controller, joycons and Hori Split Pad Pro. Both the Mobapad M6 HD and Mobapad ChiTu HD have hall effect sticks, mechanical buttons, programmable rear buttons, gyro, HD rumble, NFC and swappable sticks and dpads. The M6 also has removable faceplates.

Oh, interesting.
I'm a split pad fan but do miss some of the regular joycon features.
Where did you get them from?

I picked up Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club and an enjoying it. It's my first straight visual novel, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect.

If you're interested in a physical copy, they seem to be drying up quickly, and you never know about reprints on niche stuff like this.

Now if the two-pack of predecessors would go on a decent sale on the eShop...

At least a full generation behind as usual I'm going to assume.

It's basically looking to be marginally better than an Xbox Series S but still worse than a Series X or PS5.

Which is fine, it's a handheld.

I'm glad they're just doing a straight up more powerful follow-up and not reverting back to some new gimmick that will be a coin flip whether it bombs or becomes the new hot thing.

I know there's tons of these kind of things out now, but I like Nintendo first party games enough to make this portable gaming device my go-to instead of one those Steam deck ones.

Kernow can't conceive of anybody playing anything other than a Playstation, apparently.

PC gaming? What sorcery is this?
What do you mean the kids still like Mario Kart? Don't they know fun isn't fun?

Wait until he finds out people play games on their phones while shitting.

First party Nintendo games and the occasional indie surprise are the only things keeping me interested in gaming.
