Luka would rather put up 25 shots in a loss than put up 16 shots in a win. That's him summed up in one sentence.
I got another sentence for you. Wolves over Nugs.Luka would rather put up 25 shots in a loss than put up 16 shots in a win. That's him summed up in one sentence.
I saw, I remember. The Nuggets choked and then the Wolves stupidly thought they'd tapdance their way to the Finals and the Mavs hit them in the mouth.I got another sentence for you. Wolves over Nugs.
I mean, sure, but Boston is on another level.hinting at Boston being a racist city that free agents shouldn't go to. Like yeah, no shit dummy. So is Dallas
36-46.Hope it works out and he surrounds himself with a decent staff to mitigate his lack of experience but I can 100% see this going poorly lol
I'm gonna wait until after the draft happens/a staff is in place for my counter, cause if we draft Bronny, I'd say you're being too optimistic at 36 wins36-46.
Maybe worse.
no one saw this coming months ago! lol lebron and the media are such shams.Looks like JJ Reddick is going to be the Lakers next head coach.
Can't wait for the 36 and 46 2024-2025 Lakers!
Reddick will be back in sportscasting within two years.
Al Hortford is coming back, y'all!
Haslem was on the roster just in case Spoelstra wanted somebody stabbedSomebody has to take over the Udonis Haslem "role player that's been washed for 5 years but has become the franchise's mascot" role in the league.
Edit: Congrats to JJ. 5 years worth of salary for 18 months of work will be good value when he inevitably gets fired after another "underperforming" season.
besides what 100proof just said below you, no coach wants to coach lebron. it's a trap. he's tempermental and can undermine you. if they feel like they can deal with that, lebron has 2 years MAX left in him and his passive aggressive GM-ing will lead to a total gutting and destruction of their roster and future. what's left after that? lebron will get any and all credit and either the coach or some player will be the scapegoat. it's a terrible job.I don’t understand why one of the biggest franchises in the NBA can’t seem to hire a well known establishment coach with championship or two under their belt. What other big team in any other sport would hire a rookie coach like that?![]()
I don’t think it’s that honestly. If you look at it, it’s the same with a lot of other teams also. NBA teams just don’t seem to really value established coaches anymore.Because Dr. Buss doesn't run the team anymore and no established coach wants to deal with the headache of "coaching" LeBron.

Wasn't Kerr a commentator before becoming a first time coach with the Warriors though? How do you figure? There's a bunch of established coaches with teams looking to win: Carlisle (Conference Finals), J Kidd (Finals), Spoelstra, Doc, Pop, Kerr, Udoka, Thibs, Nick Nurse, Bud, etc.
Coaches aren't interested in dealing with LeBron. Full stop. He's never had an "established" coach his entire career. Every coach is either an assistant, a first-timer or a guy desperate for a job... and largely they're his "friends". What respected coach would want to deal with being constantly undermined and blamed in the media and being in the middle of the hot take social media shitstorm 24/7/365?
Mazzulla just won the championship too and he's 35 years old. Only had 3 years of assistant coaching experience in the NBA, won a title in his second season as head coach.Wasn't Kerr a commentator before becoming a first time coach with the Warriors though?
Oh absolutely, I'm just sayin that he started off the same way, so its not the best example. Also, I honestly cannot believe Doc keeps getting hired. We know exactly who he his by this point. He was but he's a 4-time title winner who's now been a coach for a decade. If he left the Dubs tomorrow, he'd be the top candidate for every big job in the league. Not sure how else you'd describe an "established" coach.
how many months of podcasting with lebron though?Mazzulla just won the championship too and he's 35 years old. Only had 3 years of assistant coaching experience in the NBA, won a title in his second season as head coach.
