How do you pronounce Toaplan

I've been saying Toe-uh-plawn (as in prawn) for nearly 20 years now but a few minutes ago I realized I could be wrong.

I say it as Toa-plan, but there's some weird people out there from my neck of the woods that spell it as To-plan.

I like how the word looks more than how it actually sounds if that makes any sense. It's a lovely letter arrangement which sounds pretty clumsy. Same deal but to a lesser degree with regards to Sega, and maybe a few other names/words.

Sure. I hear you. It's like Ghibli. Dude liked it with a soft g instead of the hard g. So they said screw it and just did the soft g anyway.

Sega is a great name.
