Do any of you have/had a CDL license?

I don't, but, one of my coworkers is currently taking the class and I talked to her at length about her experiences last night. Successfully backing up/turning huge semi trailers, at an angle, strikes me as particularly difficult/stressful and I don't think I'd do that very well.

It would help me in my job, but no. I don’t want to be responsible for shit that big. I don’t even like driving a fork truck.

No, only ever driven a truck with a fixed cab--can't remember how many feet it was but definitely bigger than a uhaul or something. Long distance trucking seems like it might be kind of fun for a while, but I don't think I could handle the dark side of the business.
