well on DC you don't have the sprite rotation problem i guess... so if that is limiting in someway the NG ver, fixing at least this version should be considerer

DC version should be available for a little while. You can still pick up Gunlord DC, so I'd say you've got a bit of a window on XYX.

ahh good, I'm excited for this, would prefer an mvs copy, but it's just not in my price range.

Agreed. If doing sprite rotation in the Neo's hardware is a ballache, then it would be nice if they could include the option in the DC release - seeing as it's a home console port/release vs the MVS being the arcade version

Not sure how difficult/easy such a rotation would be to implement on the DC though, scaled with side-borders etc?

I'm not expecting such a thing to happen to be honest, but just wanted to put it out there, that it would be nice to have the 'option' for those at home, not running the MVS/Arcade version through a rotatable cab set-up...

Why Dreamcast but not AES? I can rotate the TV hooked up to my AES just as well as the one hooked up to my Dreamcast (seeing as it's the same TV).

Or maybe NGEV has a bad taste in their mouth from the current gunlord fiasco?

Maybe that "feature" was already included in the xyx editor, so they might as well make use of it?

Says MVS/AES in their very own opening post.

Either it's a 'will work on AES via MVS adaptor' or they actually plan to release an actual AES/NGH version down the road...

I think for this home release they will make sure to have everything they need before opening up preorders.
For now I will settle with the dc version.

Since they haven't updated the current budget MEG count, they probably haven't gotten a whole lot of preorders yet.

I can't imagine they got any less preorders than with Fast Striker and Gunlord. They're much more established now, and have shown to be pretty proficient in the shooter-game. I'm definitely psyched for its release, though. Can't wait to see more gameplay.
