Yep... and when you do get bored with your DC ports, you can resell them for a whopping $10. Whereas, a good recent KOF on home cart will always be able to land you up to $200 at least.

Yea, the extras are sometimes nice... but they haven't been anything to scream about for SNK ports. Or are you that much of a fan of extra photos and fan art? And for the most part, none of the KOFs played arcade perfectly, as like the home carts do.

I'm not a collector, but even I know a value when I see one. :) </strong><hr></blockquote>

Ok let me get this straight...

You spend $50-$60 on the Dreamcast version of the game. It is a small import only release so I would have to say that most likely in america that the resell value in oh 3 years will be average $15-20. So you loose what $30-45 right.

Moving on.

You buy the $300+ AES release and you can resell it later for $200 (you quoted this price) and you are losing at least $100 right.

I do not se your point on that. Now I understand that AES is a better value game wise, but not $$$.
Also MVS in like 8 months after release is the best value overall.

who cares about value

the main thing is:
the home / mvs cart is the real deal

the ports are always fake

thats what matters,
unless you're a casual kof player

who wont even notice the differences
