So here's a new side scrolling action game. Contra style running and gunning mixed with a Castlevania aeesthetic.

12 bucks on Switch. Feels like an old TG-16 game. I've enjoyed my time with it so far. Not a 'must have' but worth 12 bucks for sure.

I’ve been playing this all week. Great game and I chuckled to myself when I heard Alucard’s original english SotN voice in the cast.

It’s a solid title built for speedruns and hi-score attempts. There is a difficulty spike that hits on levels 6 and 7 but nothing insurmountable if you’re accustomed to oldschool difficulty.

These devs were responsible for some previous Castlevania fan games so I’ll be keeping an eye out for their future games for sure.

those movements made me immediately think tg16. it's odd how that resonates.

I love how there are so many of these indie games on steam. Added this on to the wishlist.

It looks very authentic, indeed. Indies getting so good with their replicas; the gameplay is often not there yet, but close enough.
