Arcade version (NAOMI), or Dreamcast Arcade mode. 360 XBLA scores differently so you can submit scores but they'll go on a separate board.

Autoswing changes the whole game, and I recommend playing it both ways if you have the DC. I'm fairly certain autoswing is not an option on the NAOMI.

Yeah. I tend to refer to shmups scoreboards for consistency and scoring differences, and this just seemed odd:

-US PlayStation version: 5 lives, all difficulty 4.

Seems like this runs like dogshit in MAME unless it's a problem on my end. Will probably have to use Demul for this one if you want to play the NAOMI version.

Hey guys. So.... Nobody's playing this month?

I just tried the game for the first time and i must say it was better then i expected (thanks skate). I still have to learn the basics and how to master the "grab and throw" thing.

Will look into a couple of videos and see how it goes.

Owned it briefly on Dreamcast, not a fan of the game but it has a small following for sure.

I've got a score I can post up to start... I wish I had a good way to capture video for the first few levels to show my tactics.

I originally learned it with auto-swing on the dreamcast. Playing without it is harder but almost more fun. You can easily position a captured ship as a blocker for a while, and then swing/throw it later.

From what I remember of Triggerheart: use throws to get more medals, and let the medals hover as long as possible before collecting because they slowly increase in value. Do this enough times and you'll get extra bosses for even more scoring.

Couldn't get into this game when I played it on the Naomi, might just have to give it another shot and post up a score though.

I really don't care for this game. Autoswing seems to be the way to go, I'll try it on DC next. Maybe that will help.
