Would be funny if a contender drafted him and he knocked his dad out of the playoffs.
I think this is the theory lebron wants floating around in the media. I don't think any actual contender would really want lebron. he's a complete defensive liability and he is ineffective outside the restricted zone on offense.

I think there are a lot of teams that would take Lebron. The media can't stop sucking Lebron's dick and the market coverage and attendance would make it feel like a big deal. And in this soft era, he can still perform when it doesn't matter and draw people to the arenas. The NBA is still a business and that probably matters more to organizations than winning championships. There can only be one champion so if you're gonna suck, make money doing it.

Trust me. I'm a Cubs fan and I remember the Tribune Company era. Whenever they did well, it was a happy accident.

I don't know if his effect on attendance is really what people claim it is. all I know is, if they want to actually win a championship...they aren't likely able to with lebron. he'll leave his team out to dry defensively, consistently, with 4 on 5 in transition.

So you're saying he's a rookie?

It would depend on how close a team is. A big money market team like Chicago that isn't anywhere close to a championship might try to sign Lebron since they could still get rich.

To me, Lebron is a calculated risk if you're on the verge of getting a chip.

Didn't see him play but seemed like a really cool dude. A shame. RIP Bill.
College player of the year 3 straight years, led UCLA to 2 national championships and a 88 game winning streak. Drafter by Portland, led them to their first NBA championship, then years later, won another one with Boston and a 6th Man of the Year award. He's best known for being one of the biggest Grateful Dead fan, first started attending in 1967 and been to over 850 of their concerts.

I know who he is, Just didn't see him play. Watched a doco on him a while back, his house was full of Dead and Dylan memorabilia.

Just needed a little luck….
They already had the best record in the league. Their team that made the Finals 2 years ago wasn't as good as this one.

Plus, the Bucks were going to seize defeat from the jaws of victory with Doc "Infinite Opportunities" Rivers at the helm.

Celtics are up 2-0.

I don't think the Mavs are going to win this, and I'm hoping they're not, but with this team you just never know.

Mavs are ridiculously lucky to even be there. The Wolves thought they'd be a pushover after they beat the Nuggets and they got punched in the dick.

I mean, overcoming a 2-0 Finals deficit isn't unheard of right? :) That said, Dallas looks pretty overmatched and they need some serious adjustments if they wanna get back into this series
