I just finished my second Home MVS system

This one looks a lot better.

Check the pictures on: <a href="http://www.memorex-telex.nl/MVS_v2/" target="_blank">MVS_v2</a>

Doesn't it look nice? =)

Happy gaming, Cya all.

That's how it should be done!

wires soldered directly on the pinouts and no ugly jamma connector

The only thing I would add is a plastic (or metal?) sheet to cover the bottom of the PCB thus protecting it from shorts, static, etc.

Great job!

Bit bored this afternoon, so after seeing this nice 2 slot I thought I'd chuck my old supergun and make a smaller one.

<a href="http://mysite.freeserve.com/doughs_page/sg.jpg" target="_blank">http://mysite.freeserve.com/doughs_page/sg.jpg</a>

First go took a few minutes, but there's plenty of wire that can be shortened to make it close as normal.

Wether or not I can be bothered to shorten all the wires or not is another matter completely, it'll probably stay like that for a few months loco

BTW, that's a standard DVD case.

Damn...that does look nice.

I was thinking of soldering straight to the pcb, but wasn't willing to commit to that quite yet.

Looks super smooth and I love that exterior color.

Nice Job!

Very, very very nice!

I'm gonna solder to the board like that too. Once my balls tripple in size.

I doubt someone will sell you one. But if you mail your board and enough cash for parts and labour I'm sure someone here will be happy to make one for you.

the converted mv-1fz will be about 300$ shipped from germany to america.

the parts (including board and jrok alone are already about 200$. actually i did this at that price, just to get my own jrok, which i traded for my board and all the needed parts (besides the encoder, of course).

i'd say :
send me a jrok and add at least 200$ by paypal and we can talk about a converted mv-1fz. shipped.

btw : there's no psu under the cover. it has to be powered by an external psu

So all I need to buy is my own Jrock, send it to you and you'll take care of the rest once I Paypal you a $200 payment?

Sounds like a possibility...

depends on how much i'll have to pay for the board itself and i'll still have to get a quote for shipping. (it's heavier, than i thought.) but i'm sure, that i won't have to ask for more, than 250$ extra. guess it's more on the 200$ side. :)

but yes, it's possible.
i'll post some pics of a modified mv-1fz within the next 24 hours.

Thanks for all the nice reactions. =)

Except from you JHendrix, I hate you to. =P
No, I don't mean that.

And about selling them, no not right now.
Maybe in the future. It takes to much time to build one, and I don't have time to spare.

The electrical setup here in the Netherlands is 240vac. I used 1 5v psu and used the jack output for audio.

Happy gaming, Cya all.
