So, when I was saying it looked uncomfortable, I was actually just referring to how tall the stick is, and there doesn't seem to be any room to rest your wrist. My hands would be killing me after a little while on that. The button layout seems fine. I would probably prefer it to the standard layout.

And another custom controller project started. This is probably going to include Raspberry pi 2 and Retropie installation so it can be used both neo geo controller and standalone gaming machine.

Bro, I really like the controller a lot nice idea. It does look very nice next to the CMVS. Are you planning to add anything else to it or are you done with it?

So I have been installing retropie and thinking what stick I should use with it. I decided that I want to use my arcade stick and neo geo controllers and made this solution

I tweaked the arduinos usbapi and hid files so it acts like two axis and nine button joystick and made super simple program that reads the neo controller and maps it to that (stick + 4 standard neo buttons, start, select and kick 1-3).

Works nicely with neo-geo emulator.

Made a smaller version of the Neo to USB converter. Very pleased with the size.

Thanks! I try to always do something interesting or different. If nothing more than to learn things.

Yesterday I finally managed to make that converter to support PS button on ps3. I could have copied things that people have already made, but I wanted modify the standard USB arduino USB implementation by myself so that I actually learn and know what I'm doing. Just need to rewrite lots of code now. But anyway pushing start and select same time with up will now act as ps button. I'm also considering that I'll make several different button layouts that can be then selected by start+select+direction/button. That way I can have different ps3 button layouts and pc layout.

Now I also need to make stick that have kick buttons too.
