I'm getting an error, but can't read it on a mv2f. It might be a video ram error. Here is a pic with neo bios:

Here is what happens with uni bios 2.3:

So far I have done:

Checked traces under battery: OK
Checked board for scratches: OK
Cleaned board and slots.
Cleared back up ram.
Tried different carts.

Any help would be great.

Well after a few hours of checking the board, I found two non active contacts on vram chips (cxk5825). On an off chance I pressed on the chips and the problem is fixed!

So my question is: how do I find the problem? There must be a contact that is not connecting some where, but does connect when the board is flexed.

Any help would be great.

Found the problem after buying a set of magnifying glasses. The problem is there were 9 legs lifted off a custom neo chip. After even further inspection the solder underneath the legs has come up from the board. This board is a lost cause, but now I have a lot of parts.

thanks for the help.

If you're OK to part with the NEO 257 customs let me know.
