General Provisions​

neo-geo.com is not responsible in any way for private transactions arranged between members of these forums. It is the responsibility of the members to ensure that they are involved in a legitimate transaction. By choosing to do business on these forums, the members are willfully consenting to the rules stated in this post. These rules are subject to enforcement by the moderation team. Enforcement will be on a case-by-case basis.

Users Requirements​

The Market is open to all members who have reached both a 50 post count and a month membership. Members with a smaller post count are restricted and can't create any thread in the market section. They may only reply to existing market threads.

We realize that two newcomers dealing together is a good recipe for disaster. This is the reason why newcomers are only allowed to deal with established members for the first 5 transactions; however, established members have a right to discriminate on who they deal with.

Sellers and traders with little or no feedback must ship items first, or allow local pickup. Sellers and traders with insufficient feedback who refuse to ship first or to allow local pickup can be identified as potential scammers by forum members, and their account will be subject to review by the moderation team.

Any user who commits a scam on this website forfeits all privacy rights to their name, address and any other discoverable personal information until the situation has been acceptably rectified. Any such information can be posted on the forums, resulting in public availability on web search engines (e.g. Google).

Any user who commits a scam outside of the forums may be subject to having their account restricted for the safety and protection of our members.

Market Forums​

(SNK) Neo Selling:
Items permitted for sale include any SNK released game for the Arcade (including PCBs and complete cabinets), Neo Geo AES/NGH (home cartridge), Neo Geo MVS (arcade cartridge), Neo Geo CD, Neo Geo Hyper 64, Neo Geo Pocket (B&W or Color), any SNK released hardware, third party products that works with SNK systems, and any SNK collectible such as key chains, art books, etc. Only items offered for sale should be listed here.

(SNK) Neo Wanted:
This forum is an opportunity for users to post wanted (to buy or trade) requests for items that qualify under the (SNK) Neo Selling forum. Such want ads or trade lists should NOT be associated with items listed for sale in another forum.

Everything Else:
Buy/sell/trade any items not listed in the (SNK) Neo forums; not limited to video games.

Zelda doll trading forum (ZDTF):
As a subset of Everything Else, ZDTF is for sales and trade of all arcade hardware and software. MVS hardware and software may be listed in (SNK) Neo Selling.

Off-Site Commerce:
Any off-site sales, including but not limited to eBay auctions, Amazon listings, Facebook Marketplace, etc, should be listed here regardless of what is being sold. However, sellers who posted a proper sale thread and then decide, after a reasonable period of time, to move their unsold items off-site, may post a link to said items in their original sale thread. Sellers are not required, in that particular case, to create a new thread in the Off-Site Commerce section. Anyone who abuses the "reasonable period of time" will be subject to action by the moderation team. Do not try to game the system.

Market Threads​

General rules
- Fake market threads are not tolerated and will be moved to the war room.
- Only one active thread per section is allowed, so combine your listings.
- Keep your threads up to date and mark your items as sold/traded/found when applicable.
- Let your old thread die once you're done with it, don't heavily edit and bump an old thread to list new items.
- Bumping old market threads is proscribed, make sure to check their creation dates before replying.
- Make sure you get everything down in writing before going forward with any transaction.
- Keep it civil in the market place, take the drama to the war room.

Common Sales Terms
- FS = For Sale
- FT = For Trade
- WTB = Want to Buy
- WTT = Want to trade for

Taking Offers and Auction Threads
- Both MMAO (Make Me An Offer) and FA (For Auction) threads are prohibited on here.

Selling threads (For Sale / FS):
(SNK) Neo Selling | Arcade Trading | Everything Else
- All of your items must be priced when you first create the thread.
- Do not list items that are for a friend or other third party unless the item is actually in your possession.
- Test your stuff thoroughly before listing it, especially when it comes to hardware.
- Accurately describe your items (version, condition, authenticity, etc.)
- Pictures are required for the pricey items. Newcomers must post pictures for everything.
- Your sale conditions, payment methods and shipping preferences must be clearly stated.
- Descriptions, prices and pictures should not be edited out after a sale, keep them visible for reference.

Trading threads (For Trade / FT):
(SNK) Neo Selling | Arcade Trading | Everything Else
- Do not list items that are for a friend or other third party unless the item is actually in your possession.
- Test your stuff thoroughly before listing it, especially when it comes to hardware.
- Accurately describe your items (version, condition, authenticity, etc.)
- Pictures are required for the pricey items. Newcomers must post pictures for everything.
- Your trade conditions and shipping preferences must be clearly stated.
- Descriptions and pictures should not be edited out after a trade, keep them visible for reference.

Wanted threads (Want To Buy / WTB / WTT):
(SNK) Neo Wanted | Arcade Trading | Everything Else
- Your trade conditions, payment methods and shipping preferences must be clearly stated.
- You must ask for pictures and make sure that you're offered the item you want (version, condition, authenticity, etc)
- Make sure you get everything down in writing before going forward with any transaction.
- Do not entirely edit out an item once you find it, just mark it as found for reference.

Feedbacks​

Member Feedback | Scammer list

Feedback left in the forums may only be left for a transaction conducted through the forums. A link to the thread that served as the basis of the transaction is required for leaving a feedback.

Abuse of the feedback function (e.g. leaving negative feedback without cause or a fake feedback) is proscribed. Members who abuse the feedback function will be subject to action by the moderation team.

Any scam, anywhere by anyone, may be reported in our Scammer list section as a warning to users in the Community.
