Component video encoder?

I noticed Jrok and Neobitz have for a while used chips which convert RGB to component video. Does anyone know what chips they use or know of a chip which does this?

I wanted to make the electronics for my new supergun myself and have it all to exacting specs and really do as much as can be done with what I have here.

If anyone can shed some light on this it'd be appreciated.

I did a search but couldn't dig anything up which went that in depth. I may be wrong but is it possable YCrCb is taken from normal RGB using RB and composite as green?

I agree this belongs in tech support actually, can someone move it?
