I was referring to the size of the economy.... Which is important..... If the Swedish or Swiss economies went into turmoil, there would less global impact than if China did the same.

Edit: You know the USSR wasn't a pure Communist nation. They didn't share the wealth 100 percent, they spend most of their money on weapons which lead the downfall of the Soviet Union.

Don't forget their own banks and companies are now some of the biggest in the world (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China is now the biggest Bank, overtaking Citigroup).
