I don't have space anymore, so I haven't bothered to buy any Gundam model kits since like '04. It didn't help that I lost some crap during a flood in '05. All I got left is my Master Grade God Gundam.

Its an excellent Model and when i saw the Full Burst model i knew i was have to get it, it was definately worth the extra money. The only problem is the Dragoons which surround the base have been affected by gravity (a models worst enemy) when i first did it they all stood proud and looked damn cool, now as you can see on the picture they have all flopped down, its something i am gonna have to address with it because i paid way to much money for them to flop lol.

Picked up a '70 El Camino 1:18 die-cast this weekend at a flea market.

I've always liked Ertl models, but they seem to be increasingly difficult to find recently.

RC cars included?

I recently got a Tam Tech Gear. The Desert Gator model. Great little buggy, and a lot of fun indoors and out. I got slick tyres for indoor use and it is great fun powersliding it over the wooden flooring panels.

Pretty speedy for such a little car, and the battery life is awesome for such a tiny pack.

I have a few model cars but only a few: 1:24 scale Porsche 911 996 in black/black and a 1:18 porsche 911 speedster in red/black. I also have two ferrari models in 1:18 scale a F430 coupe in red/tan and an F40 in red.

I hope to add a few more soon since I have some display case space

Not really a 'model car' but I won this last night, I've wanted it since it came out 23 years ago.

I'll soon be getting a few other kits I used to own as a kid: namely

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=290113161933&rd=1&rd=1
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=170109415719&rd=1&rd=1

and this one, which I never owned but I like the test cars so hey!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=150119041874&rd=1&rd=1

ohhh 1978

finding it really hard to not just buy this one as its a good price too:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=160114583656&rd=1&rd=1

sigh, but I just bought the 80's test car.

soon I'll just think fuck it and buy the red one anyway, I know it'll happen.

Nice models. I'd love to get my hands on a 4 ft tall Zaku and those roughly 5-6 ft tall mazinger, great mazinger and grendizer figures... maybe set them out as the doormen to the arcade. :D

Wow I forgot about those for the longest time. I got into those kits a few years back when they were releasing new models and such. I would get all psyched with building them but then I found out you had to buy the battery kits and I was crushed. To make things worse they never sold the battery kits in my area. :(

Nice! I had several sets of those when I was a kid. AFter a while I had all of my sets mixed up, so I would just build random things :emb:.

I was a lego fiend as a child.

I've been collecting 1:18 scale die-cast car models for over 10 years. I probably have close to 60 at this point.

10 years and only 60? My brother has been collecting for 5 years or so, I think he has thousands. His wall is basically lined with die cast cars, insane.

But I like your collection better, small and tidy.

hehe thanks :).

Space is the issue honestly. I have several models that are not on my main shelf simply because I don't have room. I suppose I need to buy a bigger shelf, but i'm cheap :(.

I used to love RC Cars but they can get pricey and parts breaking down and stuff. Would love to get one of those gas ones.
