A new paid expansion for Atari 50 is out. This one includes 19 games, and in November another 25 game pack will be released. At that point in November a new physical version with all the DLC and updates will hit stores.

Also comes with new timelines, videos, printed materials, etc for the museum portion.

This pack includes:
Atari Video Cube (2600)
Avalanche (8 bit)
Avalanche (arcade)
Berzerk (2600 Voice Enhanced)
Berzerk (2600)
Berzerk (5200)
Berzerk (arcade)
Desert Falcon (2600)
Destroyer (arcade)
Football (arcade)
Frenzy (arcade)
Off the Wall (2600)
Red Baron (arcade)
Sky Diver (2600)
Sky Diver (arcade)
Steeplechase (2600)
Stellar Track (2600)
Submarine Commander (2600)
Super Bug (arcade)

For a full list of the current 134 games in the collection, check here:

November's update is about the first console war so it will likely include Intellivision and/or M-Network stuff. That will bring the total to 159 games in the collection.

I had to read a forum post from fat thumb Jesus to get this information, by the way. I hope you're all happy.

I've bought those two, they came out a while ago when the 2600+ was new. Berzerk has speech and the robots can fire diagonally, the game became one of my most-played carts for a long while and I'm still playing it. Mr. Run and Jump is a nice running game similar to Canabalt where you chase your dog that ran away and have to overcome a series of obstacles, gotta start the level again if you hit something or get hit, it's sort of a jumping and running puzzler. Highly addictive, challenging and rewarding.

They're great releases IMO, specially Berzerk. They added a few extras and I think it's the definitive 2600 version, much better than the original release.

There are more 2600 physical releases coming up, the M-Network Collection with Armor Ambush, Star Strike, Astro Blast and Frogs & Flies (Astro Blast is a real killer and one of me fav 2600 paddle games), Epyx Games (Summer Games, Winter Games, California Games), Caverns Of Mars (a great game that had been released before on Atariage but now is going to get an official release) and RealSports Collection (baseball, basketball, boxing, football, soccer, tennis and volleyball). That's the EU release lineup which is due any day now, US will get some more + they already got a bunch of collector's boxes or summat, not interested in those, tho.

Good stuff.

Pretty amazing to see titles on a shelf in 2024 for a system released in the 70s. Thanks for the review Tak.
