i just wanna know if their anybody here who build or mod their own arcade sticks here on this site so i won't feel alone about posting some pictures of my stick. also share each other ideas from building to tech.
this stick i am about to show isn't perfect but good enough for me to be proud of and taking credit of the work i did for two months.
this stick is a mayflash ps2/3 and pc. i got his stick for about $15 at a gaming store in austin,tx call game over. i took it home and kinda like it and already thinking modding it for my next arcade stick build. i aready did one with my wwe brawl stick that i switch out the joystick with a jlf-sanwa with a 8-way plate and replace the buttons with 30mm sanwa buttons. took the wwe cover art and slap on the neo geo cab art which i change the color to green because its my favorite. but on with the mayflash stick
here the before pic.
this stick was kinda good. the joystick was already good but the buttons was tiny second late but wasn't bad. so i gutted it out and fill in the holds with epoxy and sand the hold box down and spray two coats of primers. i spray a candy green paint with metal flakes which looked great in the sun and spray the finale coat of clear coat. also i like to remind ya that i wided the holes of the buttons slots which i sanded out. and drill three holes on the right side of the stick which will be my select, start and home. the buttons i used was a 30mm semitishi snap on but the side was a 24mm screw on semitishi which i decided to used a ps360 pcb board for this project. after i test fitted everything. i wire it up and this is the end results. it was a a great bult and loving this stick way more then my wwe brawl stick.
after
here a side by side sticks i got here. top is the modded mayflash stick with the ps360 pcb board and the other is a stock and slighty modded wwe brawl stick for the 360.
so, if anybody here got a modded stick and got picture's of it. post it up here.
my build will be a hit-box build. i can't wait to do this one in the fall.
