Judging by the diversity of opinion, he's probably on the Chris Ray level of Neo-Geo infamy - that is, people who've dealt with him in person say he's fine, but he's no angel.

All it takes is one bad transaction and one greedy scumbag, and Ray Young committed felony grand theft in any jurisdiction: America, Canada or Miscellaneous.

He disappeared because he knows he's guilty. Say what you will about a group like NGF, but at least they spoke up for themselves --regardless of the issue of veracity
